How to Wrap Furoshiki Cloth

In this video, Megumi Esselstrom demonstrates just how easy it is to wrap a gift in cloth with Shiki Wrap.

Before You Wrap Furoshiki Cloth

Make sure you have the right size wrap by laying your Shiki Wrap in a diamond shape, centering the gift, and pulling the edges over the top. If the gift is fully covered by the wrap with enough fabric to tie a knot on each side, you've got the right size. If the gift is not covered, you will need a larger wrap.

Simplest Furoshiki Gift Wrap

Step 1: Lay your Shiki Wrap in a diamond shape. Center the gift.

Step 2: Tie corners at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock in a simple knot.

Step 3: Tie corners at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock in a simple knot and tidy.
